Tell us your name and where you're from.

Well, I'm Maria Laura Vittori and I come from Anzio, basically. Near Rome — so I come from Rome, let's say.

Ok: what has struck you most during these days in Reykjavik?

Well, what struck me a lot, besides — how to put it — what is always there: a capacity to combine humanity with knowledge, with knowing how to be, that is, being right inside the situation, and sharing. And the fact that, in this case, the peers were right there in organizing the event and led it very well together, with Auður, beyond sharing their own stories, which is what I'm more used to.

And is there a phrase, a word, an idea you'll take home into your work?

One thing I take home into my work is that this work is ongoing, it's growing, and we hold an expectation for the future: that there is a future to look toward.

Great. The third question is: where will Open Dialogue be in 2030?

In 2030 it will be in our services, it will also be part of university teaching and it will be a way of being with patients.

Would you like to add anything — a comment?

I'd like to add a thank-you to you, for giving me the chance to share. Thank you.
